November as normal saw the arrival of cooler weather and this seemed to slow the buzzer hatch but the fish remained in the same areas but dropped in the water a little with the usual lures and bung tactics producing great bags in fact it was the bung that produced 2 of the very best fish of the year to Anthony Rees, firstly a Brown a shade under 10lb then about a week later the biggest rainbow of the year a staggering 13lb 3oz ( possibly the biggest rainbow from a Uk reservoir this year ?) So as a summary I think we have enjoyed an excellent year with masses of fish being caught right across the lake and judging by the bookings coming in we are in for a very busy 2024 season which kicks off on the 7th March
