"The Gun that Won the West!" This wonderful honest used Winchester repeating rifle is in . 44 40 caliber, correctly marked with 44 W. C. F. on the left barrel facet and 44 CAL. on the bottom of the brass carrier block. It features a desirable 24 inch octagonal barrel, which looks to have been replaced at the Winchester factory itself, along with a full length magazine tube. As with all examples, it is marked MODEL.
