This is a gorgeous M1 Helmet that was recovered in 1989 at Marnach, Luxembourg, a well known position of the 28th Infantry Division during World War II. The helmet was then repaired, painted, with a chinstrap added for a museum display. The Captains bars blazed on the front are original to the helmet and were present when it was found.
