The seamless shells are 3mm thick at the shell wall and 5mm thick at the each edge and have 45 degree bearing edges. The inside of these shells are finished with a buffing process, but are not polished. Shell exteriors have the classic center Gretsch knurling pattern, are not plated and are finished with a light coat of lacquer.
