This is a very good example of the German WWII Crimea Shield Award, with a lovely metal shield attached to a Luftwaffe Air Force fliegerblau (flyer's blue) blue gray wool backing. It still has the steel backing plate and just a bit of the paper backing still intact around the edges. The wool is in very good service used condition, showing fading and some wear to the edges, but no mothing we can see. All four of the
