This Red Cross Enlisted Man's Hewer is both a rare variation and named. The hilt mounts have 95% of the fine original nickel plated surfaces and only shows minor use and age; it is nice to see a hewer with this kind of preservation to the hilt as the base metal is pot metal and often the plating did not hold up well.
