This gasket is designed to fit between the side cover and the main case of Rotax Max Evo engines. Made of a thin and fibrous gasket material, this gasket keeps oil and fluids inside the crankcase, which otherwise would be a porous metal on metal surface from the aluminum cover and the crankcase housing. Each gasket sold separately. This is part #16 on the diagram.
