This is a very nice pair of German World War Two 1940 Pattern Luftwaffe Airman's Flying Boots, which appear to have been used thoroughly. The construction is of black leather for the shoe area and black suede for the shafts. Electrical elements are enclosed in the boot with the standard Luftwaffe "male" press stud connectors at the top. These would snap onto the matching "female" connectors on the flying suit
