Stamped steel spade or shovel blade, around 50cm (22 inches) in length, welded at the support and riveted to a wooden handle, it did not undergo any noticeable design change for nearly 50 years. These shovels are German (possibly Austrian Swiss) manufacture and all bear World War Two markings! Offered in good to very good sturdy
