S. made overseas cap with an EGA (Eagle, Globe, Anchor) insignia affixed to the left side, denoting issue to a U. S. Marine, who served in France from 1917 1919. The cap has a size and date sticker on the interior, Size 7 with a contract date of August 21st, 1918. There is a period correct EGA insignia at the front of the cap, with both latitude and longitude lines on the globe,
