This is a very nice French WWI experimental grenade, offered in good condition. This example is offered totally inert with a deactivated internal fuse and all explosives removed per BATF specifications. This grenade is definitely an interesting example, and looks to be designed for use with a trip wire. The explosives cavity is relatively small, as is the shape. We assume this was intended to cause close range
